With over 15 years of experience in teaching, Louis is a Maths tutor who enables students to achieve the grades required to enter top universities for Maths, Economics, Engineering and Computer Science. Patient, skilful and passionate, he introduces students to innovative ways to learn so that those who struggle with Maths are able to quickly regain interest, grasp core concepts and apply them flexibly.
Lower primary students enjoy games, puzzles and custom-made Maths exercises with Louis as they gradually develop problem-solving and critical thinking skills, on top of excelling in mental/ quick Maths. Older students take advantage of Louis’s expertise in the Maths curricula used in top local schools in Hong Kong as well as international schools (including KS 3, IGCSE, GCE/I A-level, IBPYP, IBMYP, IBDP and AP).
Most students improve significantly within a year; some students in the past performed exceptionally well and improved from a Fail to an A.

Beside academic success, Jo Jo brings to her students experience from the working world, being a businesswoman (and a mother), with professional experience in Law, Finance and Accounting. Her students consistently achieve top results in English Language, English Literature, History, PRS, Economics and Law, as well as school and university entrance exams.
Jo Jo is a passionate educator who seeks to understand each student’s strengths, weaknesses and goals, so she may help them achieve their potential in effective and encouraging ways. She is committed to having a positive influence on her students, who learn to think critically and creatively, inside and outside of school. She is a skilled communicator who is able to explain abstract and challenging concepts to even her youngest students. Parents are often impressed by the improvement they see in their children’s grades, communication skills and confidence.
Jo Jo believes that many students are capable of learning more than what they are taught in school, so she offers holiday programmes such as “Little Money Manager”, “Little Lawyer” and “Little Philosopher” to allow her students to explore important topics of knowledge that they may not otherwise encounter in their studies.

No, we offer classes flexibly. However, we generally advise students to have at least an hour per week of tutoring for each subject they need help with.
